Hello, and welcome aboard Associated Air as we travel around the snack globe! Please take your seat and enjoy the trip! This month we are delighted to share some origin stories from some of our beloved Global-Inspired Office Snacks. It’s so fascinating to see how snacking preference and taste varies greatly based on location and customs. However, if there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s that we love a snack break!

Asia

Our first destination is Asia, where so many of our favorite snacks hail from! Please find some highlights below:

Sanzo

Sanzo came to be because of its founder’s goal to highlight Asian flavors without being masked by added sugars like some other beverages in its category are. It is the first Asian-inspired sparkling water!

Pocky

Pocky is a Japanese brand that originated in 1966. They are meant to be shared and enjoyed in a group as each box is filled with a plethora of classic biscuit sticks coated with creamy flavor.

Meiji Hello Panda

The Meiji brand was also founded in Japan. Their irresistible Hello Panda cookies in chocolate have been a staple in our offerings since the day we added them.

Gimme Seaweed

Gimme was created to introduce Korean food to more people. It is a snack that is truly like no other and fits in nearly all dietary preferences. Gimme also practices regenerative agriculture. The seaweed is grown in the sea off South Korea and is a “zero input food that’s net positive for the environment.” Talk about a guilt-free snack!

Alo Water

Alo water is a Thai-based beverage and this drink is unlike any other in our lineup. It is plant-based and infused with aloe vera harvested from sustainable farms in Thailand.

Ito En Milk Tea

Ito En is a Japanese based brand with a goal to preserve tea culture while sharing the benefits of tea leaves with others. Their delicious milk tea line is made from top-quality tea and milk that gives it a creamy taste as if its straight from a barista.

Matcha Love

Ito En also makes a traditional canned Japanese matcha tea. Matcha is known for its umami flavor and high caffeine content – a perfect afternoon pick me up!

Africa

Just Ice Tea

Next, we’re traveling to Africa to check out the tea farms of Mozambique – specifically the tea farms supported by Just Ice Tea. We are so excited to carry Just Ice Tea. They have added a frequently requested lineup to our tea category. Just Ice Tea is organic and fair trade with flavors options that are unsweetened and just sweet enough.

Europe

The final stop on our agenda is Europe! Let’s highlight some of our favorite sweet and savory options that come from this delicious part of the world.

Oloves

Greek Oloves are a much-enjoyed snack around the world. They are also of their own category being a low carb, low fat, healthy, and tasty alternative to chips when looking for a quick, savory bite.

Michel Et Augustine

A French treat, need we say more? These perfectly combined shortbread & chocolate cookie squares are the perfect bite to end any meal. Merci beacoup!

Madeleines

Another French treat: the classic madeleine cookie. These tasty cakes have their distinguishable shell-like shape and classic delicious flavor.

Volpi Prosciutto Roltini Singles

A perfect Italian combination. These prosciutto wrapped mozzarella rolls are packed with 12g protein and are also sure to fill you up on the go.

Conclusion

Thank you for traveling with us! We hope you enjoyed the sights and snacks, and are eager to try out some of these Global-Inspired Office Snacks in your own office soon!
